Hello! I'm Kate Stirling

 

I've been a personal trainer for over 10 years and am also a certified Vinyasa and Yin yoga teacher. I worked for 5 years as an out door group trainer and have extensive experience with mindset coaching. Pre-covid I used to teach Sculpt, HIIT, Vinyasa and Yin at boutique studios across London.

I understand how challenging finding motivation and prioritising your health/fitness can be but I will show you how to work with your mindset along with consistent training and lifestyle changes, where appropriate, to hit you goals and improve your vision for your future.

I am currently studying Pre & Post Natal Exercise alongside a Level 4 Nutrition Coach qualification

  

 

The Deeper Stuff

 

When the pandemic hit last year I took all my classes online and set up Stirling Fit. Alongside this I was co-running an outdoor group training company and in May 2021 I sold my half to be able to focus entirely on my own thing and to build my online offerings.  

 

I've always loved the power of exercise and movement, alongside adoring food! However, it’s not always been an easy road - I understand how horrible negative body image can be having had my own challenges with anorexia in my teens. 

 

Over the last 5 years I have also discovered the impact of mindset and how incredible reframing our thoughts can be, particularly when also battling mental health challenges, such as depression.  In 2016 I went through a divorce - it rocked my world but exercise, working on mindset coaching and movement helped get me through!  Life is so much brighter now as a result.

 

This time really taught me how powerful our thoughts can be in relation to our body and physical outcomes. My coaching methods have evolved as a result of all of my experiences alongside the expertise I have developed from working with others to help improve self esteem and self belief, alongside reaching relatively common goals such as weight loss and strength gain. 

 

I am also a trained actress and have worked as a presenter, child welfare in TV production, hospitality, as well as yoga studio management so I have solid communication skills and a heavy set level of empathy for how challenging life can be, especially when time is short and anxieties can run high! However, exercise, coaching and movement has always been a constant in my life and I know we can work together to help you reach your goals!
